Add another Car to the long list of wannabe builders who want to leapfrog into this exclusive and dazzling club of Super Cars, now that Koenigsegg One:1 has out-paced the mighty Veyron in the speed stakes, new car builders are rushing to push the performance envelop to ridiculous limits. Trion Super Cars (TSC) founded in 2012 is such an automotive technology company which has designed the Nemesis Super Car, which is based out of California. Trion's objective is to design, engineer and hand build Super Cars for the super rich market segment.
Evidently, Trion is taking a leaf out of the Europeans and preparing to challenge their dominance in the prestigious exotic Super Car sector, and the euphemistic naming of the car appears to reflect just that. For a start the Nemesis has a body and chassis made from carbon fiber. The manufacturing process will utilize the latest engineering technologies from various industries to combine power, aesthetics, safety and comfort.
Trion says a prototype is due for a test in 2014, and sales will begin next year for around $1 million per car. However, the problem with such exotic automakers is that until they emerge from the embryonic CAD/Software rendering stage, to actual production and delivery nothing can be predicted. Given the company's tall claims (one such example is a whopping 2000 hp engine output), it is going to be a knotty challenge to redeem.
